Do you work with those who have special needs?
Yes! Miss Nicole has a background in early childhood and special education, and she’s completed specialized training through Swim Angelfish. She has experience working with students with ADHD, Autism, Down syndrome, and more. Our customized approach allows us to support every swimmer's unique needs and help them thrive in the water.
How long will it take my child to learn?
Every child is unique, and learning times can vary. Some children may grasp skills in days, while others might take weeks or even months. We tailor our approach to each child's pace, ensuring they build confidence and skills in a supportive environment.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD IS READY FOR LESSONS?
Even if your child loves water play, structured lessons can be a different experience. It's common for children to experience a transition period, which may include crying or separation anxiety. This is normal, and we're here to support both you and your child through it. If we feel your child isn't quite ready, we'll discuss the best approach moving forward.
CAN I BE IN THE POOL WITH MY CHILD DURING THEIR LESSONS?
While we appreciate parental involvement, we ask that parents not be in the pool during private one-on-one lessons, as it can be distracting for the student. Parents are welcome to join Baby & Me sessions; however, instructors will not handle the child during these sessions. If your child requires special accommodations, including having a parent or guardian in the pool, please let us know—we're happy to accommodate. We encourage parents to observe lessons from nearby, whether inside the home, in the backyard, or near the pool.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
No we do not, but we are happy to reschedule any missed or cancelled classes with proper notice.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We require that you do cancel 24 hrs before your lesson, to avoid a cancellation fee. If cancelled after the 24 hr frame, you will be charged a cancellation fee. Please keep in mind that we know life happens and can be flexible with this policy, as long as you communicate with us
I REACHED OUT VIA TEXT/EMAIL/CALL — WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT A RESPONSE?
Our goal is to respond to all messages as promptly as possible. During our busy season, we may be teaching for extended periods, which can delay our response. We aim to reply by the end of the day; texts sent after 9:30 PM will receive a response the next morning. If you haven't heard from us by then, please follow up with a call.
